Doughnut Cushion

This doughnut cushion is made from spaghetti yarn which I bought in Lincraft when I saw it. I just had to have it. I got the hot pink and the pale pink. I have used spaghetti yarn and T shirt strips for the sprinkles, plenty of pompons and some beads.  It's a big cushion - 80 centimetres diameter. It took a kilo and a half of fibre filler. I was stuffing the cushion all afternoon and my whole arm was going into it. As such it is more of an on the floor cushion because it is solid and resilient. It required a lot of hand sewing for the top and that took me all day but it was fun to develop it and this project was a very good challenge for me because I was working with yarn I had never used and the spaghetti yarn is different  and solid. I've called it a crinkle doughnut.
