Knitted baby blanket

I am using brick stitch for this smaller baby blanket. I made a big one and the two hundred stitches makes a decent sized blanket. This one is 100 stitches and very much a baby blanket. The soft colours are lovely. I use a medley yarn for the stocking stitch rows and then a plain yarn for the garter stitch rows in between. The garter stitch gives it a nice texture. It's machine washable, knits up easily and so is a good on the go project for when you don't want to concentrate too much. I always get good feedback on these blankets. They look nice and are easy care.
